CRCL undertakes the functional design to ensure that the client's brief
is fully satisfied. The outline drawings form the basis of a
detailed planning application. In this way, the contract tendering
procedure can take place simultaneously with processing the planning
application. This saves about 2 months of project lead time.

The CRCL drawings are used to secure design/build tenders. The
contractors are obliged to tender on the CRCL design and specification. Deeds of Warranty
covering design and performance bonds are secured from the successful
contractor and its underwriters.
