Rover Small and Medium Cars - Longbridge

This 18,500 sqm (200,000 sq. ft) development in Longbridge, about half a mile from the assembly lines, is the intake and stock holding point for automotive suppliers. The development was undertaken within a very tight programme and the final cost was comfortably within the client's original budget. The project includes 15 acres of hardstanding for new vehicle storage.
Planning consent was secured on land zoned Greenbelt. Rover's sister property development company had advised that the project could not be undertaken within the required time span or within budget. They were also pessimistic about the prospects of obtaining planning consent on Greenbelt land.
